Rev. Luke Smith
Pastor
Luke Benjamin Smith became the pastor of Linden Heights Baptist Church in 2010. He is a native of Washington, D.C. Luke studied at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, The American Baptist Seminary of the West (located in Berkeley, California) and Duke Divinity School in Durham, NC. He earned his Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree at Duke Divinity School in 2005.
Natalie Ballew
Children's Church Director
Natalie graduated from Mary Baldwin University in 2013 with a degree in psychology with a main focus in education and childhood development classes. Natalie has experience with children in various settings, including operating her own daycare center, working in a church nursery, volunteering with autistic children in the public school system, and volunteering in Awana programs. Natalie and her husband Ryan have three children.
Andrew & Kristen May
Youth Pastors
Andrew and Kristen serve together as Youth Pastors at Linden Heights Baptist Church. They consider it a blessing to serve the Lord and minister to the youth of the congregation. Their mission is to teach the value of Christian fellowship and to guide young people in deepening their understanding of faith in God. They welcome all who are seeking to learn more about Jesus Christ to join them in this journey of spiritual growth.
Andrew is a U.S. Army veteran who completed a combat tour in Afghanistan. He is currently pursuing a degree in Christian Ministry at Colorado Christian University. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities and hunting. Kristen grew up attending Linden Heights Baptist Church and cherishes the opportunity to pass on her father’s teachings about the importance of faith to both their two sons and the church’s youth. She works at DuPont Community Credit Union and enjoys spending time with her family and helping others.
Teresa Rosemeier
Choir Director
Teresa holds a degree in music from Bridgewater College and has experience teaching in both the Page County and Augusta County School Systems. She previously served as choir director at Christ United Methodist Church in Staunton and St. James United Methodist Church in Churchville.
She currently serves as the choir director at Linden Heights Baptist Church, a role she considers a true blessing. Teresa feels grateful to God for the opportunity to serve Him by leading the church family in worship each week and working with such a dedicated and loving group of people.
Teresa and her husband, Tom, live in Greenville and cherish the time they spend with their beloved children and grandchildren.
Melissa Graham
Music Coordinator, Praise Team Director
Melissa leads the Praise Team and directs congregational singing of contemporary praise songs during the 9:00 a.m. worship service. The Praise Team also leads a time of Praise and Worship on Wednesday evenings. New members are always welcome, and feedback or song requests are encouraged.
Eva Mason
Church Secretary
Eva has been a secretary most of her life and has served at Linden Heights many years. She is also a Sunday School teacher for the ladies class. Eva is a member of the Jammerz musical group at the church. She plays many instruments, sings and plays the piano.
Dawn Davis
Nursery Worker
Dawn is a Nursery caregiver and is also employed by Staunton City School. She helps out with some of the not-so-wee ones, as well as some of the special children’s events such as the Christmas Pageant and the Easter Egg Hunt! She and her husband have five grown children and a grandchild. Dawn loves being part of the Linden family.
